How do I book a shoot?
Send us a message with a few details about what you're looking for. From there we'll share our packages, book a consultation call, and if needed, send along a wardrobe guide to help you prep for the shoot.
How many images will I receive?
This varies by session and package, we'll confirm the details with you before booking so you know what to expect.
Where are you based? & Do you travel?
We're based in Metro Vancouver BC. Yes, within the Lower Mainland & Metro Vancouver. Travel further out may include an additional fee.
What is your turnaround time?
Typically 2 weeks after image selection for standard sessions. Weddings may take a bit longer due to the volume of images.
Do you have a cancellation or rescheduling policy?
Life happens, and we understand plans change. We allow up to 2 reschedules per booking for legitimate reasons, and requests must be made at least 24 hours before your scheduled shoot. If a session still can't be scheduled after 2 reschedules, the booking will be cancelled and you're welcome to come back and book a new date as a fresh booking. Deposits secure your date and are non-refundable, but they can be applied toward a rescheduled session within the 2-reschedule limit.
I'm having a small wedding, can I get a 1-hour package?
Yes, we offer customized packages for smaller and civil weddings, including options as short as 1 hour. Reach out and we can put together something that fits your day.
Do I get printing and sharing rights to my images?
Yes, you'll receive full digital images with rights to print and share them, including on social media. We just ask for a photo credit when sharing online if possible.
When should I book my at-home newborn session?
We recommend booking as soon as you know your due date, ideally for a session within the first few weeks after birth. That said, lifestyle sessions aren't about posed perfection, they capture real, everyday moments, so even if your baby is 2 to 3 months (or beyond), don't worry, there's a different kind of beauty in that stage too. Reach out whenever you're ready and we'll go from there.
What should I wear for my session?
We'll send you a wardrobe guide ahead of your session to help with ideas and colour coordination. We want you to feel confident and comfortable in what you're wearing, so feel free to reach out if you have questions before the shoot.
How long is a typical session?
This depends on the package you choose. Family and newborn sessions typically run 1 to 2 hours, while weddings vary based on coverage. We'll confirm the exact length with you during your consultation.
Can I include grandparents or my pet in the session?
Of course, grandparents and pets are always welcome, especially for at-home lifestyle sessions & Outdoor sessions. Just let us know ahead of time so we can plan accordingly.
